Echoes of the fallen Messiah distinguished themselves by their energetic live performance. The irreverence of this band from Leiria, with their Melodic Death/Black Metal, which proposes a scenario of powerful riffs and melodies, attended by a very strong voice. They've shared the stage with bands like Susperia (Norway), Impirius Malevolence (Brazil), Hanzel und Gretyl (USA), Theriomorphic (PT), Sirius (PT), Sacred Sin (PT), Demon Dagger (PT), Divine Lust (PT), Opus Draconis (PT), The Spektrum (PT), among many others. In 2009 the band achieved 2nd place in the first edition of the Iberian Arena Metal band contest in witch participated over 50 bands from Portugal and Spain.

Echoes of the Fallen Messiah were selected in January 2009 along with other 50 bands from Portugal and Spain for the 1st edition of the Iberian Arena Metal 2009 contest. They played the first round in Leiria, on February 7, at the Alfa Bar and won. A month later, on March 7, the band headed to Lisbon to play the semi-final that toke place at the Rock n’ Shots Bar – Cascais. After a long night Echoes of the Fallen Messiah were selected to the Finals, which toke place March 21 at the Metal Point Bar – Porto. It is reported with great pleasure that Echoes of the Fallen Messiah achieved the 2nd place in the Final of the 1st edition of the Iberian Arena Metal!
